WaveFront Dynamics (WDI) is partnering with Bausch + Lomb and WAVE Eye Care on a new collaboration that integrates and expands scleral options via proprietary optic design services.

The specialty contact lens division launched in January 2025 as a collaboration between three companies: EyePrint Prosthetics, Advanced Vision Technologies, and WAVE Contact Lens System.

There are two to take note of—collectively referred to as WaveDȳn technologies—and both are at the center of this new integration with B+L and Wave Eye Care.
Designed with a compact footprint, the WaveDȳn Vision Analyzer is a dynamic aberrometer that delivers a comprehensive, real-time view of the eye’s optical system.
How: By capturing a complete, high-resolution optical fingerprint (~2,870 data points across a 7.0 mm pupil) of 10 key measurements in 5 seconds. Other key capabilities include:
- Revealing visual distortions while also enabling optical refraction identification from a sequence
- Allowing for open application programming interface (API) / electronic medical record (EMR) compatibility and remote access—with a standalone viewer for flexibility
- Offering real-time playback and optical simulation tools to support patient education
