Global contact lens supplier Euclid Vision Corporation has received FDA clearance for the Be Free Day multifocal (MF) toric lens, a silicone hydrogel (SiHy) daily disposable (DD).
This follows just 6 months after the company first introduced its FDA 510(k)-cleared Be Free Day lens line to the U.S. market.
Let’s get reacquainted with Be Free Day.
Developed by Euclid Vision in collaboration with the Brien Holden Vision Institute (BVHI), the original Be Free Day lens provides a soft lens option via a multistep optical design and patented stepped power profile.

So, what details do we know about this new MF toric DD option?
The soft (hydrophilic) contact lens features a multifocal (MF)-toric design is reported to be cleared for daily wear to correct:

- In powers from +6.00 to −12.25 diopters (D) and with non-diseased eyes who may require a reading addition of +0.25D to +3.00D and have −3.50 diopters of astigmatism or less
See here for its FDA 510(k) clearance confirmation.
And take note: We can’t speak specifics on lens design included in this MF toric lens, as those details are not yet available.
How about its parameter range?
In response to Glance’s request for those details, we were provided with the following:

An excellent question. Euclid is planning for a fall 2026 launch.
And in the meantime (though not a toric lens option), eyecare providers can request a free trial kit pack of the Be Free Day lens—and download a step-by-step fitting guide to get familiarized with the brand.
