Eyes On Eyecare has officially opened registration to eyecare professionals (ECPs) for the 2026 Corneal Health Summit.
Where do we begin?
This one-day-only—well, technically, a half-day—virtual conference will deliver practice guidance on recognizing, diagnosing, and managing corneal disease earlier and more efficiently.
Attendees are invited to listen and learn from expert faculty as they explore prominent corneal diseases and topics, including neuropathic keratitis (NK), keratoconus, tear film dysfunction, corneal pathways, and chronic ocular surface pain.
And who will these ‘expert faculty’ be?
We’ll start with the event’s featured speakers: Three clinicians known for translating complex corneal science into strategic action:
- Cory J. Lappin, OD, MS, FAAO
- Hardeep K. Kataria, OD, FAAO
- Nathan Lighthizer, OD, FAAO
And joining them as session presenters will be:
- Ada Noh, OD
- John D. Gelles, OD
- Kaleb Abbott, OD, MS, FAAO, FOWNS
- Mitch Ibach, OD, FAAO
And these topics?
Here’s a sneak peek:
- Enabling timely intervention by recognizing subtle corneal and ocular surface changes
- Identifying early NK signs and risk factors to mitigate progression and vision loss
- Detecting keratoconus earlier using advanced imaging and diagnostic strategies
- Understanding corneal sensory pathways and their role in basal tear production
Check out the full half-day schedule.
Speaking of sessions … are there CE opportunities available?
You bet there are.
Attendees can claim up to 3 hours of free COPE-accredited continuing education (CE) from 6 clinical track sessions.
So how can attendees stay connected throughout the virtual event?
Per usual, EOE is offering its online peer-to-peer chat feature for ECPs to participate in group discussions and create new connections.
And along those lines, attendees can also participate in live Q&A sessions led by clinical experts.
How about an Exhibit Hall?
But of course. Attendees can explore a virtual Exhibit Hall to get the latest on corneal health innovations and connect directly with technical experts.
Who’s exhibiting* this year, you ask? Some big names in corneal health, including:
- Dompé
- Viatris
- Bausch & Lomb
- Harrow
*Sponsoring partners as of Feb. 25.
Any prize opportunities?
As if it would be an EOE virtual event without prizes.
Up to $1,000 in prizes are up for grabs. Attendees can increase their odds of winning by searching for raffle tickets hidden throughout the event.
Now to the question we’ve all been waiting for: When is this?
- The date: Saturday, April 4
- The time: 7:30 am - 1:10 pm PST / 10:30 am - 4:10 pm EST
