In a move to expand nationwide access to its lens portfolio, Newton (formerly Neurolens) is collaborating with ABB Labs as its new strategic lab partner.

Now to ABB Labs.
As the optical laboratory division of AAB Optical group, Newton’s new strategic lab partner has a reputation as one of the largest independent optical laboratory networks in the United States.
The specialized lab offers high-quality lens manufacturing and finishing services, with a wide range of customized solutions such as:
- Digitally-fabricated lenses (tailored to individual prescriptions)
- On-site anti-reflective coating and finishing
Additionally (and for the purposes of this Newton partnership): ABB Labs also has an extensive lens product portfolio of stock and specialty designs from major brands.
And as a strategic lab partner, what will ABB Labs be doing?
ABB Labs will produce the Neurolens and Sequel lens designs for its customer base of independent optometry practices.
And the significance of this collaboration for Newton?
A major boost in access for its lens portfolio, to say the least.
Leveraging ABB Lab’s network, the strategic vendor partnership will bring Newton’s advanced lens technology to thousands of additional eyecare practices in North America.

According to Newton CEO Davis Corley ABB Labs, this move doesn't just expand the company’s manufacturing capacity—it also “multiplies our reach across the United States.”
