Eyes On Eyecare is relaunching a virtual event designed exclusively to help 4th-year optometry students and recent graduates kick-start their optometric careers.

Introducing: Eyes On Career Fair.

Let’s start with a basic rundown.

From the organizers of virtual education events like Eyes On Dry Eye, Eyes On Glaucoma, and Eyes On Retina, this latest addition to the EOE brand of events is designed as a half-day program that offers practical sessions on:

  • Career pathways
  • Resume building
  • Interview readiness
  • Licensing strategies
  • Contract guidance

How exciting! What else is on the agenda?

Attendees will receive hands-on guidance and direct access to career counselors skilled at preparing new optometrists for success in today’s competitive job market.

Among the core career-building essentials on the agenda:

  • Live Q&A and recruiter chat with EOE’s career mentors
  • Virtual job board highlighting open positions
  • Insights into diverse career paths such as retail, private practice, and medical models

Tell me more about these career mentors.

Five experts will be virtually available to offer free, personalized guidance on resume and cover letter optimization, how to nail interviews and navigate contract negotiations, and much more.

These experts include:

Circle back to that job board section …

We knew you’d like that. Attendees can browse open positions at EOE’s virtual booth—and also gain access to a no-hassle resume drop zone for an easy application process.

To note: This replaces the standard virtual Exhibit Hall EOE’s virtual events are known for.

Speaking of what EOE is known for … will there still be raffle prizes available?

But of course! Hidden raffle tickets throughout the event will give attendees the chance to claim $500 in prizes—plus additional career coaching.

So keep your eyes peeled …

Now to the big question: When is this?

One day only: Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.

The times: 12:30 pm PST / 3:30 pm EST to 5:10 pm PST / 8:10 pm EST.

And how much does it cost to register?

Nothing! As with all EOE educational events, this is free and 100% virtual.

That’s amazing … so where can I register?
