Eyes On Eyecare has officially opened registration to eyecare professionals (ECPs) for the largest virtual eyecare event of the year: Eyes On 2026.
Where do we begin?
Designed as a two-day virtual conference, Eyes On 2026 promises attendees—ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other ECPs—live and semi-live online sessions covering the latest clinical innovations and technologies, as well as practice management strategies for shaping the future of eyecare.
- The theme for this year: The Next Year of Eyecare Excellence.
But more specifically: This event brings together world-class ODs and MDs, empowering them to stay ahead of the curve, elevate their practices, and embrace the evolving landscape of modern medicine.
How exciting! So what’s on the agenda?
What's not, is the better question … this year’s event will feature two “turbo-charged” days of interdisciplinary clinical care approaches; contact lenses and cornea; pharmacologic and therapeutic advances; retina and imaging; glaucoma and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS); and much, much more.
Among these clinical innovations:
- AI and OTC applications advancing diabetic retinopathy detection
- Future-forward MIGS updates redefining glaucoma treatment
- Novel therapeutic approaches shaping contemporary retina care
- Advanced scleral lens fitting pearls for complex corneal pathology
And who’s delivering these topics?
A total of 15 ECPs will speak and present in the Clinical Track:
- Carolyn Majcher, OD, FAAO, FORS
- Cecelia C. Koetting, OD, FAAO, Dipl ABO
- Cory J. Lappin, OD, MS, FAAO

So how can attendees stay connected throughout the virtual event?
Per usual, EOE is offering its online peer-to-peer chat feature for ECPs to participate in group discussions and create new connections.
And along those lines—they can also participate in live Q&A sessions led by clinical experts.
Speaking of sessions … are there CE opportunities available?
You bet there is. ECPs can claim up to 7.5 hours of COPE-accredited continuing education (CE) from 11 clinical sessions—presented by those aforementioned 15 ECPs—covering an extensive range of topics.
Here’s a preview of a few of them:
- Scleral Success: Advanced Fitting and Management Pearls for Optometrists
- Pharmacologic Agents for Refractive Correction (PARC)
- Collaborative Management for Complex Corneas Beyond DED
- From OCT to AI: The Frontier in Diabetic Retinopathy Care
- Future-Proofing Your Practice: The Role of AI in Modern Optometry
- No So Rare After All: Unmasking Neurotrophic Keratitis in Your Patients
