It’s that time of year again! Eyes On Eyecare (EOE) has officially opened registration to eyecare professionals (ECPs) for its keystone meeting of the year: Eyes On 2025.

Where do we begin?

This two-day virtual event provides ECPs with the opportunity to not only learn about the latest technology and product innovations they can incorporate into their own practice, but also get “in the know” of what’s on the horizon for 2025 (more on that later).

  • The theme for this year: “The Future in Focus”

Go on ..

On the agenda includes discussions on practice management and practical tips for ocular disease and specialties such as:

  • Geographic atrophy (GA)
  • Autoimmune disease
  • Glaucoma
  • Neurotrophic keratitis
  • Myopia

(Just to name a few.)

And did we mention attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 6 COPE-accredited continuing education (CE) units?

I’m listening …

Ranging from 30 to 50 minutes, clinical experts will deliver eight educational courses:

  • Ocular Surface Optimization and Patient Selection in Refractive Cataract Surgery*

  • From New Grad to Retirement: Strategic Business Planning for ODs
  • Building a Myopia-Busting Practice Blueprint
  • Case-Based Approach to Vision Therapy for Concussion Patients

*MD-focused session

With this virtual format, how will attendees stay connected?

EOE will offer its unique peer-2-peer chat feature to enable ECPs to build their network and partake in group discussions during sessions.

And, as per usual, a virtual Exhibit Hall will be jam-packed with the latest in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, lenses, and practice solutions to watch for in 2025.

Exhibitors include:

  • Astellas

  • Dompé
  • Johnson & Johnson Vision

What other features are available?

New this year is the Innovation Zone.

What it is: A dedicated virtual space within the event where attendees can get a sneak preview and more info on cutting-edge technology, products, and services that are set to disrupt the industry in the year to come.

Any prize opportunities?

What would an EOE virtual event be without them?

Attendees can search for hidden raffle tickets and listen for secret codes to take a chance at winning $2,000 in prizes (Can we interest you in an iPad, De’Longhi Dedica espresso machine, or an Ember smart mug?).

And we can’t forget the swag bag: Get your own advance copy of the 2024 Optometry Report, expression registration for future CE events, and more!

Let’s talk awards.

For the third year in a row, EoE’s Optometry Innovation Awards (OIA), sponsored exclusively by Dompé, will honor transformative advances in eyecare by recognizing outstanding problem solvers and creators.

What this involves: The top three innovators selected will be awarded prize money (see below) to positively impact the optometric future and enhance patient care.

  • 1st place: $20,000
  • 2nd place: $12,500
  • 3rd place: $7,500
