Company refresh, please.

Now explain these LifeStyle lenses.

The company’s line of progressive lenses is constructed with HOYA’s patented Integrated Dual Surface (iD) design—to shape for a patient’s individual vision—and proprietary Binocular Harmonization Technology (HBT), which considers the difference between a patient’s right and left prescriptions to better balance the lenses’ design performance.

See here for a look at the company’s extensive progressive lens brands.

Its LifeStyle lenses include:

  • iD LifeStyle 2
  • iD LifeStyle 3
  • iD Lifestyle 4
    • Hoyalux iD Lifestyle 4 (our topic of conversation)

Let’s talk about these iD Lifestyle 4 lenses.

A key component to these updated lenses is the addition of HOYA’s 3D Binocular Vision technology, which is intended to magnify the binocularity between the two eyes for near peripheral vision.

Click here to read up on why these three technologies are key to HOYA’s PALs.

The intent: improvements (comfort and stability) in vision with faster adaptation.

Give me some design features.

Three “lifestyle” options are available for patients to create a more personalized visual experience:

  • Indoor
    • More focus on near visual field; provides full distance capacity with a stronger focus on near zone
  • Urban
    • More balanced focus; for intermediate and distance where visual focus is frequently changed
  • Outdoor Provides full indoor clarity with a primary focus on distance

And the benefits for patients?

Through those three aforementioned HOYA-patented technologies, the lenses (also available as polarized) are designed to speed up adaptation for patients and fit larger frame sizes.

Lastly, where can I learn more about these updated lenses for myself?
