When and where is it this year?
Kicking off June 19-22, the 2024 meeting will be held at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tell me more about this CE.
The meeting will include 250+ hours’ worth of credits with expert-led education involving hands-on workshops, integrated education, and peer-to-peer forums for optometrists, paraoptometrists, and optometry students, according to the AOA.
Attendees can earn up to 36 credits (optometrists) and 32 credits (paraoptometrists) across all four days.
According to Randall Kempfer, OD, co-chair of the Education Center Committee, the AOA strives to deliver education that’s both well-rounded and on-trend for the field.
“We’re proud to share that this year will boast the most diverse speaker pool since the AOA’s implementation of an updated review process in 2020,” he stated.
Where can I sneak a peek at the education sessions?
Education sessions will begin on Wednesday, June 19, at 9 am and conclude at 3 pm on Saturday, June 22.
