Haag-Streit Group has selected its newest CEO for Haag-Streit USA: Olaf Felske.

Headquartered in Koeniz, Switzerland, Haag-Streit Group is an international Swiss medical device company that develops and manufactures medical technology products in ophthalmology, pneumology, microsurgery, and optics.
In the ophthalmic space, the company has eight group companies across the globe, including Haag-Streit USA located in Mason, Ohio.
The U.S.-based group manufactures and distributes medical equipment for eyecare professionals (ECPs), including Reliance Medical Products (which it also services)—an exam and procedure furniture brand.

Now to Felske … what’s his background?
Per the company, Felske has 20 years of experience working within the healthcare, chemical, energy, and consulting industries as a strategic business and finance executive, working to drive stakeholder value and profitable business growth.
He previously served in various executive leadership roles at Medtronic plc, a global producer of medical devices and therapies such as insulin pumps, diabetes therapies, and pacemakers.
So who’s he replacing?
Jeff Sieve, who previously served as both CEO and president of Haag-Streit USA, will now serve solely as president of the company.
To note, Felske will now report directly to Haag-Streit Group CEO Thomas Bernhard.
