Zeiss has released Zeiss Warm Eye Masks, designed to provide relief to dry, tired eyes.

Tell me more.

According to the company, the new eye masks provide stimulation for the eyelids’ natural oil glands in order to relax the eyes.

By applying gentle and moist heat, the masks aim to relieve eye discomfort and leave the eyes feeling fresh and less irritated.

What are they made out of?

The masks feature soft ear loops and are composed of three layers for optimal eye comfort:

  • Breathable film (for control)
  • Central core (for heat)
  • Flexible top and bottom layer (for accurate fitting)

How are they packaged?

Each mask is individually wrapped in pocket-sized sachets.

And how do I heat them up?

The mask should immediately activate once the sachet is opened.

From there, according to Zeiss, it should only take a couple minutes to heat up.

How long should they last?

Per Zeiss, wearers should place the mask over their eyes and leave for 15 to 20 minutes to get the full intended benefits. After that, the mask will begin to cool.

Are they reusable?

Nope; it's a one-and-done type of experience. Attempting to reheat the masks could potentially damage the material and hurt your eyes.

Are there multiple sizes?

Nope, just one; each mask is designed to fit adult faces.

Where can I purchase?

Per the company, the masks are now available in North America.
