Registration is open for Eyes On Glaucoma, June 9, 2023

The largest virtual glaucoma event will focus on innovation.

San Diego, California – May 1, 2023 – Eyes On Eyecare today announced registration is officially open for Eyes On Glaucoma 2023, a one-day virtual event that will be live around the world on June 9, 2023 from 2:30-9:30pm ET. Eyes On Glaucoma is a cross-disciplinary meeting focused on emerging glaucoma clinical and surgical trends as well as the latest innovations and therapeutics that will enable eyecare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. Last year’s event drew more than 3,000 global eyecare professionals, making Eyes on Glaucoma the single largest virtual event dedicated to glaucoma.

“I’m really excited to connect with today’s eyecare professionals,” said Justin Schweitzer, OD, FAAO, and Chair of Eyes On Glaucoma. “Glaucoma is a major part of eyecare practice for both ophthalmologists and optometrists. It’s important that our colleagues have the most up-to-date information about diagnostic and treatment strategies and to work together in a collaborative environment to provide the best care for patients. This year’s show will feature an incredible faculty of ophthalmologists and optometrists who will help to guide practitioners into the next frontier of practice.”

Produced by Eyes On Eyecare, the leading source of next-generation clinical and career education designed for today’s preeminent optometrists and ophthalmologists, this year’s Eyes On Glaucoma will feature live sessions and interactive Q&As with renowned specialists, leading solutions in a virtual exhibit hall, industry-wide networking, and an opportunity to earn up to 3 hours of free COPE-accredited CE on topics directly related to patient care. Attendees can also win up to $2,000 in prizes by finding secret codes and hidden raffle tickets.

Moderated by Michael Cooper, OD and Constance Okeke, MD in the clinical track and Justin Schweitzer, OD in the implementation track, attendees will be led by experts through deep dives into topics like:

  • Continual development of MIGS as targeted surgical therapy with the advent of recent and future approvals
  • Refined surgical laser techniques to enhance IOP-lowering with the goal to preserve long-term visual function
  • Impact of artificial intelligence on how best to leverage this emerging technology to interpret imaging for glaucoma management using novel treatment algorithms
