Registration is open for Eyes On Glaucoma, June 15, 2024

The largest virtual glaucoma event will help today’s doctors improve quality of care.

April 25, 2024 – Eyes On Eyecare today announced registration is officially open for Eyes On Glaucoma 2024, a one-day virtual event that will deliver up to 4 credits of complimentary, COPE-accredited CE.

Held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 7:30am-1:50pm PT / 10:30am-4:50pm ET, Eyes On Glaucoma is a cross-disciplinary meeting at the forefront of glaucoma care and innovation that is likely to draw more than 2,000 ophthalmologists, optometrists, and glaucoma specialists. The event will be a catalyst to spark new ideas, generate thought-provoking discussions, and facilitate case reviews in order to promote learning and elevate the current and future standards of patient care.

Moderated by Justin Schweitzer, OD, FAAO, and designed for real-world applications, each expert-led clinical session will focus on glaucoma diagnosis, management, and treatment across topics like:

  • Therapeutic and surgical breakthroughs
  • New developments in micro-invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS)
  • Emerging therapies in glaucoma management
  • Collaborative, patient-centric approaches to glaucoma care
  • Novel technologies transforming glaucoma diagnoses
  • More accurate monitoring and personalized treatment plans
  • How to simplify complex billing and coding processes to ensure accurate reimbursement
  • Efficient workflows that can maximize revenue

Sessions will be led by today’s preeminent glaucoma specialists, including John Berdahl, MD; Philip Ngai, MD, MBA, MS; Leonard K. Seibold, MD; Michael Chaglasian, OD, FAAO; Ben Gaddie, OD, FAAO; Sophia Leung, OD, DiplABO, DiplAAO; Brandy Sperry, COMT, COE, CPC, CPMA; Jessica Steen, OD, FAAO, DiplABO; and more.

“Each year, Eyes On Glaucoma is one of the industry’s most anticipated meetings,” said Dr. Schweitzer. “This is not a one-size-fits-all disease, and it’s imperative that today’s leading optometrists and ophthalmologists converge to share knowledge—whether it’s new surgical techniques and MIGS procedures or strategies for earlier, sight-saving diagnoses.”

CE-generating sessions in the clinical track will be complemented by implementation sessions in the Exhibit Hall, moderated by Carolyn Majcher, OD, FAAO. Highlighting the latest advancements in diagnosis and management, these sessions will provide attendees a first look at innovative therapies, sustained-release drug-delivery platforms, IOP-lowering drops, microstents, and many more solutions that address one of the world’s leading causes of blindness.

The Exhibit Hall will also feature sponsor booths stocked with white papers, video demos, and product information as well as technical experts ready to chat with attendees about how to customize a solution for their individual practices.

Produced by Eyes On Eyecare, the leading source of next-generation clinical and career education designed for today’s preeminent and emerging optometrists and ophthalmologists, Eyes On Glaucoma will encourage networking, relationship building, and collaborative learning by leveraging peer-to-peer (P2P) chat functionality for maximum industry engagement. Attendees can also win up to $1,500 in prizes by finding secret codes and hidden raffle tickets.

Partnering with Visionary Medical Education (VME) on CE accreditation, the COPE-accredited CE at this event will be categorized as Synchronous Virtual.
