Implementation Pathways to Dry Eye Practice Success kicks off May 11, 2024

A two-part virtual series for ECPs committed to investing in their dry eye practices.

San Diego, CaliforniaEyes On Eyecare announced it will be launching the second-annual, virtual series for eyecare professionals (ECPs) committed to growing their dry eye practices. Held over two weekends in May, each will focus on a specific aspect of dry eye disease (DED), including:

  • Series 1: Diagnosis to Action: Implementing Cutting-Edge Dry Eye Strategies (Saturday, May 11)
  • Series 2: Beyond Dryness: Building Preventative Dry Eye Strategies (Saturday, May 18)

Attendees can expect a five- to six-hour day per series that includes expert clinical, technical, and practical advice from the nation’s top dry eye specialists, as well as business management insights about how to allocate funds for prospective capital expenditures. Eyecare professionals will be able to ask questions to both dry eye specialists and technical experts and will have opportunities to win $500 in raffle prizes at each event. Group and peer-to-peer chat functionality will facilitate networking and professional connections throughout the event.

Today’s leading dry eye specialists will be highlighting the event, including: Doug Devries, OD; Francis S. Mah, MD; Marc Myers, OD, FAAO; Michael Greenwood, MD; Sathi Maiti, OD, FAAO; Adam Ramsey, OD; Bita Asghari, OD, FAAO; Hardeep K. Kataria, OD, FAAO; Marc R. Bloomenstein, OD, FAAO and more.

“We’re honored to provide advanced education and implementation tactics for ECPs serious about managing and treating dry eye disease,” said Matt Geller, CEO and co-founder, Eyes On Eyecare. “While there is tremendous peer-reviewed research on the etiology of dry eye, there is still a serious lack of practical advice about how to set up a successful dry eye clinic. I’m proud that the Pathways Series fills that gap.”

Each year, Eyes On Eyecare produces Eyes On Dry Eye, the largest virtual event dedicated to DED. Implementation Pathways complements Eyes On Dry Eye in that each session in the series is focused on applications that address the broad clinical lessons. Additionally, the Series delivers deep learning on topics crucial to dry eye practice success, such as:

  • Dry Eye Manifestations of Existing and New Systemic Medications
  • Hitting a Business Homerun: Implementing Practice Strategies for Clinic Tomorrow
  • Are You Ready to Implement Amniotic Tissue in Your Practice?
  • The Tortoise and The Hare: Weighing in Glaucoma’s Impact on DED
  • Not Your Typical Dry Eye: Case Report Rapid Fire

The Pathways Series is exclusive to practitioners serious about taking their dry eye practice to the next level. By explicitly excluding entry-level learners, the event ensures a dedicated audience focused on substantial growth and development.
