AOAExcel is hosting a workshop to provide doctors of optometry with answers to their financial wellness questions and provide financial strategies designed specifically for ODs. AOA members are encouraged to attend “Navigating financial wellness as an OD - Strategies to build a secure financial future” on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2024 at 8 pm ET.
AOAExcel will partner with endorsed business partners Equitable Financial, Laurel Road, and AGIA to provide attendees with expert advice on how to leverage retirement savings planning, student loan repayment, and life and disability insurance to optimize their financial health.
During the workshop, attendees will learn how to:
- Leverage retirement plans to maximize your contributions and reduce your current tax burden
- Identify the best student loan repayment strategies to align with your financial goals
- Uncover proven strategies to protect your income and career
- Provide financial protection to your beneficiaries
- Discover free benefits available to AOA members
The workshop will be hosted on EyeLearn, the AOA’s professional development hub that offers educational modules and resources to help advance the practice of contemporary optometry.
