Altris AI has shared the launch of a new application, Altris Sync. The new software syncs AI directly to OCT devices from eight OCT manufacturers. The introduction of Altris Sync for automated upload of OCT files removes the need for manual operations. It also brings AI decision support for OCT analysis to every clinic.
Altris Sync is fully integrated into the Altris Inc. ecosystem, carrying the same security credentials—FDA 510(k) clearance, CE marking and full compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.
Altris AI software has been trusted in the market for years. The company’s AI Decision Support for OCT analysis serves more than 500 eye care centers all over the world. The launch of Altris Sync makes the OCT workflow more seamless, coherent and user-friendly, while removing the need for manual data upload.
Widespread use
Altris Sync connects to OCT devices from Carl Zeiss MediTech, Canon, Topcon, Heidelberg Engineering, Visionix, Nikon (Optos), Optopol and Nidek, directly to the Altris AI platform. The company also expanded its file compatibility. The new technology can process raw OCT files, giving clinics that don’t use DICOM format access to AI-powered analysis and richer quantitative insights.
The new application also unlocks a new advantage for ECPs: longitudinal analysis of historical data for identifying valuable clinical trends and generating insights.
This allows ECPs to use AI to review large volumes of historical data and identify patients who may benefit from specific treatments. They can also track disease progression across scans from different OCT devices using clear, quantitative data. This includes maps, graphs and percentage-based insights.
Benefits for ECPs
By streamlining OCT analysis and supporting deeper data insights, Altris Sync helps eye care professionals detect issues earlier, plan treatments more effectively and track disease progression with greater precision.
