Inaugural INSIGHT by Eyes On Eyecare kicks off this April

This April, Eyes On Eyecare marks the beginning of a new era kicking off its first, in-person event for eyecare professionals (ECPs): INSIGHT.

Give me a rundown on this event.

This two-day event promises to deliver a triple-threat of in-person networking, virtual access, and hands-on skills transfers—including ocular surface labs and demonstrations—for attendees.

Career development and education are at the center of the agenda, with topics focusing on:

  • Innovations in dry eye care
  • Ocular aesthetics
  • Minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) collaborative management
  • Powerhouse practice tips
  • Comanagement conversations
  • Myopia update
  • Guide to neurotrophic keratitis (NK) identification
  • Keratoconus treatment and management
  • Malpractice case studies

So when and where is it?

The two-day weekend event is taking place April 19-20, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    • 8:30 am – 6:15 pm PDT
  • Saturday
    • 8:30 am – 6 pm PDT

More specifically, the meeting is being held at the Oquendo Campus—a 70,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility designed and built specifically for medical education—located just 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

Will CE credits be offered?

Yes! A total of 12 in-person COPE-accredited continuing education (CE) will be available over the course of 15+ hours of curated education and programming.

These sessions have been developed with Eyes On Eyecare’s strategic partner, Visionary Medical Education, a CE/CME hybrid medical education company led by Michael S. Cooper, OD.

About these networking events…

Four dedicated networking breaks in the Exhibit Hall offer attendees the opportunity to mingle with other ECPs and industry professionals.

Further, a networking reception sponsored by Johnson & Johnson MedTech will be held on Friday evening (April 19) for attendees.

Are meals included?

As a matter of fact, yes! Both breakfast and lunch are provided complimentary on both days.

Nice! So how much does it cost to register for the event?

Standard registration (through April 17) is just $299 per person.

If registering on-site, (April 18-20): $399 per person

And a couple of notes:

  • No half-day or one-day registration rates are available.
  • Participation in all sponsored Dry Labs is $100 per person (details on those sessions will be available in March

And what if I need to cancel my registration?

Registrations can be cancelled or fully refunded if written requests are received on or by April 15, 2024.
